- Simpletransfer GmbH (hereinafter “we”, “us”, “Simpletransfer”) undertakes to protect the personal data of users in accordance with the applicable data protection laws, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union and Swiss data protection law.

- The processing of personal data is based on the following legal bases:
- Consent to data processing
- In some cases, we ask users for their express consent to the processing of their personal data. This consent can be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. However, Simpletransfer is under no obligation to do so and we do not normally ask for consent to process the data.
- Disclosure of personal data
- We only pass on personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the provision of our services or if we are legally obliged to do so.
- This may include:
- External service providers who support us in the provision of services (e.g. payment providers, IT service providers)
- Partner companies that organize events
- Scouts, clubs and coaches looking for players on the platform
- Data processing outside Switzerland and the EU
- When transferring personal data to recipients outside Switzerland or the EU/EC, we ensure that the data is processed in accordance with the applicable data protection laws, e.g. through standard contractual clauses or other suitable measures.
- Security of personal data
- We use technical and organizational measures to protect users’ personal data from unauthorized access, misuse, loss or destruction.

- Duration of data storage
- We only store personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes stated in this privacy policy.
- If a user deletes their account or terminates the contract, their personal data will be deleted after the statutory retention periods have expired.

- Simpletransfer does not store full credit card numbers or bank account information.
- Data protection for communication via the platform
- Users who communicate with each other via the platform are responsible for the security of their own data. We recommend that you do not share any sensitive personal data in messages or public areas of the platform.
- Automated decision-making and profiling
- We do not carry out automated decision-making based solely on the processing of personal data and we do not carry out profiling that could lead to legal consequences for the user.
- Data of minors
- Our platform is not intended for use by persons under the age of 13.
- Passing on legal requirements
- We reserve the right to disclose personal information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is necessary to comply with legal process, to protect the rights or property of Simpletransfer, or to protect the personal safety of users or the public.
- Third-party providers and external links
- Our platform may contain links to external third-party websites that are not operated by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these third-party websites.
- Before using external websites, users should familiarize themselves with the data protection provisions of the respective site.
- Changes to the data protection provisions
- We reserve the right to amend these data protection provisions at any time in order to adapt them to legal or technical developments. Users will be notified of any changes in good time.
- Users are requested to check these provisions regularly in order to remain informed of any changes.
- Information, deletion, blocking
- The customer has the right to free information about his stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing as well as a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data at any time. Upon request, the customer will be provided with information about the personal data stored about them. The information can also be provided electronically on request.
